Birkenheuer Photography Inc. is a highly regarded Chicago-based fine art photography studio with a reputation for capturing the human form in exquisite expressions of emotion and movement.  The work of Doug Birkenheuer, owner of Birkenheuer Photography Inc. has developed a loyal following among individual collectors, galleries, magazine publishers and corporations.  

Doug Birkenheuer has devoted his talent and vision to photography for over twenty years.  He received his Associates Degree from the Antonelli Institute of Photography in Cincinnati, OH in 1988.  He relocated to Chicago in 1994, where he has built a reputation for exacting professionalism in commissioned Headshots & individual, couple and group Portraits.  In recent years, he has taught photography courses at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, exciting a new generation with his passion.
