Birkenheuer Photography was founded in 1988 in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to the Chicago area in 1994. Founder Doug Birkenheuer is a highly-regarded commercial & and fine art photographer. His work has appeared in both commercial and editorial publications such as YM, ELLE, The Chicago Tribune, Gay Chicago, Advocate Magazine and the Free Press.
